Tiny Space, Major Design

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing with you a design that I found while browsing the web. Graham Hill, the founder of treehugger.com, lives in a 420 square foot apartment in Soho (although every pic and video I see shows the apartment in immaculate condition with very little in the closets). The design of this apartment was actually chosen through a competition held by LifeEdited. This tiny apartment holds a space for every use needed within a home: office, bedroom, guest room, kitchen, dining room, storage, and bathroom. Every item within those spaces was chosen for either its ecological or space-saving properties.

This design really interested me because of it’s multi-use properties. Moving spaces design is a niche that I would love to explore during my career and every space within a moving space needs to serve double duty somehow.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy the video of the apartment walk-through, as well as the article about the demo and rebuild of the apartment from LifeEdited and the article that goes along with the video from Gizmodo.

As always feel free to leave comments or some design favorites of your own!
